I think it’d be fine with just the chrome blacked out. I find chrome on most cars to be too garish.

It’s too “futurific” and angular by itself, doesn’t need the chrome.

I agree. At that point, it becomes over-styled , which I think is the reason I don’t really like the new Lexuses; they’re way too over- styled. Not that some modern BMWs aren’t the same way, Lexus just too it a step further.

I like the new LS and LC, but those are actual new platform(s) ... But taking the new design L A N G U A G E and slapping that onto older SUV platforms has been an adjustment.

I do think the LC looks fantastic from some angles, other ones I’m not sure about, but then this is why there isn’t simply one design language.

Have you played with the air suspension yet?

The LX is my most and least favorite car to teach people how to use. All the crazy off-road ability makes it fun to explain. But most people won’t ever use any of that stuff; which is sad. The LX is also so loaded with tech that it simply takes an age to explain it all.

the people building them seem to pretty much just guestimate by how much of an angle they need to raise the road... some dont require any slowing down at all... others will fuck your car up if hit at more than a crawl

The trick with these is that they go up and down so quick. It;s almost like hitting a 2" raised bar. Super steep angle of approach and departure.

Only difference is Brentwood is the “New money”. Doctors, Lawyers, Small business Owners, Execs, etc. Belle Meade/Bellevue is definitely old money. You can tell the difference because up there they have wives and down here we ha ve “ Brentwood Moms”

The Lexus version starts at $86k msrp. You might be able to option up a 3-row version to $100k, but it’s a stretch. The funny thing is that the Toyota version is $85k and there aren’t any options to jack it up from there, they all come loaded.
